Optional Levels

Level 8

This is a beginning optional level, which means the coach make up the routines meeting specific difficulty requirements. Competition is at the local, state and regional levels.

Level 9

This is an intermediate optional level. Gymnasts are allowed to do more difficult skills with some restrictions. Competition is at the local, state, regional and national levels. 

Level 10

This is the highest level in the USAG Junior Olympic age group program. It is an advanced optional level. Gymnasts are allowed to compete any skills with no restrictions. Competition is at the local, state, regional and national levels.
